PNS Hub, founded in 2024, was created with the primary intention of helping patients on their pilonidal sinus recovery journey.
I am someone who battled against pilonidal sinus disease for a long period, going through five surgeries in 18 months.
What is PNS Hub?
When I launched PNS Hub, it was designed to create a hub of information for people to find; the importance of pilonidal sinus aftercare is undervalued. I found it extremely difficult to navigate through the recovery periods of surgeries.
PNS Hub has information based on my personal experiences and contributions from some of the best surgeons and nurses in the UK, notably Mr Emin Carapeti and Kirsten Ellis.
Pilonidal sinus is an extremely serious condition, both physically and mentally. PNS Hub focuses on everything you can do to help during the recovery process.

What does the PNS Hub logo represent?
Our logo was specifically designed to represent a lotus flower.
The lotus flower is a plant connected with purity, rebirth, healing and transformation. They bloom directly out of muddy and murky waters to produce beautifully coloured blossoms.
This resonates with PNS Hub. Pilonidal sinus is a slow and difficult process. There will be times when you feel like you are in muddy and murky waters; however, with the correct information and procedure, you will get to the other side and blossom!
